Why did I paint a peacock you ask? I simply think they are beautiful/inspirational creatures. Why not paint a peacock? I love beautiful, unnecessary things...
I chose bright colors because I think everyone is looking forward to spring. Enough of this dreary cold winter weather. I am ready for the trees to bloom and the sun to shine. Even if that means hot weather here. This painting is for sale in my shop as a print if you are interested. I am keeping the original for myself though.
